Palworld player shares tip for transferring resources without getting encumbered

A Palworld player has figured out how to move heavy resources without getting encumbered in the process.

Palworld ‘s crafting system means players must regularly pick up items to collect and save them for later use.

Naturally, the game imposes weight capacity limits, so carrying too many resources results in player encumbrance. Much to their dismay, clutter occurs even when simply walking around. It’s a headache that most would prefer to avoid.

However, one user seems to have figured out how to transfer items faster without having to worry about the weight limit.

Palworld player shares solution for transferring heavy resources

Twitter user and YouTuber makeUmove recently shared a video (via Redditor u/BeyondSmash) that shows Palworld fans how to transfer items that are too heavy to carry. This guide focuses on mouse and keyboard gameplay.

This simple solution requires doing the following:

  • Open the storage chest
  • Click and hold the object
  • Press ‘Tab’ key to exit storage
  • Walk to another storage chest and open it
  • Then, finally, place the held object in an available location

The following clip shows the process in action:

The response to the Reddit post above couldn’t be more enthusiastic. One happy user replied: “I thought pressing R and grappling hook was already a nifty technique. This is even more ingenious technology! Thanks for sharing!»

An equally enthusiastic response read: “I don’t think you understand how much this post means to me. thank you, thank you very much “.

While grateful for the tip, several other Palworld users added that it would be fixed if the developers introduced “unlimited carry weight in bases…”

It’s unclear if Pocket Pair plans to address these concerns in an official patch. For now, players using mouse and keyboard in Palworld can get used to this method.
