Palworld Players Call for Benevolent Feature to Be Added

Despite all the chaos and carnage in Palworld, players have been asking the developers to add this caring feature to the game.

Although Palworld can occasionally be described as “Pokémon with weapons” due to all the chaotic things that can happen, the game has a surprising feature that allows players to pet their Pals.

Some players enjoy seeing their Pals’ faces light up when petted, even clinical-looking ones like Fuack and Depresso.

The very idea of being able to show affection to your Pal seems to have inspired players to suggest the addition of a kindness feature.

“Please allow sad Pals to come and ask for petting,” one user suggested in a Reddit thread. They mentioned that it would be cool if Pals came up to players to get their attention, like real pets do.

But there is a catch. Players should also be able to adjust settings to determine which ones can come, giving players a “cute view” when returning to their base.

Many players in the comments support this idea. “I like this idea. It would create more of a positive connection instead of ‘Oh he’s sick… Where’s my butcher knife?’,” one user wrote.

Another user said: “Yes. It would be so adorable if I could just pet them and make them feel better. Especially depressed Pals.” In response to this comment, another user suggested that it would be great if being stroked could cure most ailments.

Meanwhile, another user claimed that this idea would be good and suggested a friendship or loyalty based feature where Pals get a bonus that slows their rate of SAN decrease the longer they travel with you.

There is also another answer suggesting that they would like to be able to give stuffed animals to the Pals and play with them. Although these are just suggestions at the moment, who knows, similar features could be added to the game, given that the developers have plans to add more content according to the roadmap.
