Palworld players have been warning about the mortal danger of Fire-type Pals since the update

Palworld’s latest v0.1.5.0 update brought quite a few changes to the game, and players are claiming to have an issue with their own Fire-type Pals.

The developers at Palworld have released a few updates since the game’s release that have greatly improved the gameplay. Although some players weren’t fans of some of the changes in the recent update, most were happy with how the game turned out.

While capturing Pals remains a central element, certain types of Pals can lead players to their doom. Especially since the latest update v0.1.5.0.

Palworld player warns of dangers of Fire-type Pals

Reddit user skewtr claimed that their Fire-type Pals can kill them due to new mechanics. He explained, “Your own Fire-type Pal can kill you if you don’t have enough Heat Resistance because heat sources now build up.”He even shared a screenshot where he was taking damage from his Fire-type Pals.

Since the last Palworld update, any heat source in the game builds up. This therefore requires more vigilance on the part of players. Indeed, they can no longer put campfires and Fire Pals in their base without worrying about heat buildup. This is why coolers and Heat Resistance skills are now encouraged.

Others have also confirmed this. So, one player shared: “So my Fire Pal is cooking while the other Fire Pal is standing nearby, molten. Add in the iron fireplace to increase efficiency, and this room is now hotter than a volcano.”

Some players were not happy with this addition. Indeed, they mentioned that it “upset” them. Conversely, others pointed out how “advanced”players should invest in a cooler “to make things bearable”in Palworld. There were some who also praised the game, calling it “scientifically accurate.”

As with any update, players have mixed opinions on new additions. However, since this has been made official by Pocketpair, players will have to adapt to this functionality. They will need to invest in armor or Heat Resistance skills. Without this, Palworld players may not survive for long.
