Palworld Players Shocked to Learn Confusing Truth About Pals

Palworld players can’t believe their eyes after finding evidence that the usually adorable Pals are eating each other without provocation.

Many of the Pal creatures in Pocketpair’s popular survival game vary from quite adorable to menacing. However, some have proven strangely disturbing.

For example, the Paldeck entry for the squid-like Pal Killamari reveals that this particular creature sucks out its victim’s innards and leaves behind what essentially look like mummies.

It seems that it’s not the worst, either. A player recently learned that the inhabitants of Palworld, similar to Pokémon, engage in acts of cannibalism, even in front of players.

Yes, it seems that the Pals of Palworld are eating each other

Reddit user Hippi3Chick couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw one Pal eat another in the popular game. Of course, they needed proof of the act and, so, they recorded a 30-second video of a Tocotoco eating another Palworld creature.

It’s quite a disturbing sight, as the colorful Dodo-like bird nibbles on its slowly dying victim, who disappears once the feast is over. The Redditor added in his caption, “the stunned innocent look afterwards makes me die of laughter!!!”

As many have noted in the comments, this Reddit user is not the first to notice the disruptive habits of some Pals at Palworld.

One person recalled seeing what they thought was a Direhowl grieving for one of their brothers, only to realize something more sinister. The player explained, “I felt so bad because I thought one Direhowl was crying over the other… I walked over and he was just cannibalizing, so my sympathy was gone.”

Someone else shared an even more shocking detail about the Pals. Not only do they consume each other, “they eat every corpse, even humans.”

Others expressed admiration for Palworld’s attention to detail above all else. One comment from one such person says, “I love this detail of this game, it makes the pals more alive, like they really have an ecosystem.”

Another Redditor noted that it also serves as a “clever way to deal with disappearances.”

Needless to say, some players won’t look at Pals the same way after witnessing their eating habits.
