New Pals in the Palworld Summer Update

The most notable feature of the Palworld Summer Update trailer was the announcement of four upcoming Pals. Although their names and abilities remain a mystery for the time being, the trailer gave a glimpse of the four new Pals that will be included:

  • A quirky-looking frog sporting a blackbelt in an undisclosed martial art
  • An ostrich Pal who is sure to reignite the plagiarism debate
  • An adorably dim-witted dinosaur with a mushroom growing out of its head
  • A mystical dog-like Pal with a mushroom growing out of its head

According to Pocketpair, there will be several new Pals introduced in the upcoming update, and we are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to enslave them all.

New Weapons in the Palworld Summer Update

Palworld, affectionately known as ‘Pokemon with firearms’, introduces new Pals which can be compared to the creatures in Pokemon. However, the recent Summer Update not only includes these new Pals, but also a new firearm and another item that can be classified as a gun.

The initial weapon unveiled is a high-tech assault rifle that utilizes laser ammunition. It can be presumed that the rifle will require significant effort to craft, but the reward of being able to defeat more formidable foes will make it worthwhile.

The upcoming Palworld Summer update will also introduce a flamethrower that appears capable of easily defeating grass-type Pals. It seems that Foxparks will have to step aside as they are replaced by this new weapon.

New Location in the Palworld Summer Update

The Summer Update trailer for Palworld consistently showcases a prominent new region. The island appears to be completely new, offering a diverse range of locations.

During our exploration, we came across a sprawling shrine that was enveloped by a lush cherry blossom forest. The shrine was accompanied by man-made pathways that were adorned with torii gates.

In addition, there was a swamp with a gloomy appearance, covered in a multitude of fungal growths. It is likely that this is where the new mushroom-carrying Pal resides.

Palworld PVP Pal Arena

Although it was not shown in the latest trailer, the Palworld developers have announced that the highly anticipated PVP Pal Arena will be included in the Summer Update. From what has been revealed, the Pal Arena will consist of three-on-three battles where Pal Tamers will fight alongside their Pals.

It is currently uncertain if the new island featured in the Summer Update trailer will house the Pal Arena. As the update’s launch date approaches, Pocketpair will probably reveal more about the PVP mode.
