Pantsless Controversy Ahead of Comeback

LE SSERAFIM uploaded the trailer for their third mini-album “EASY”titled “Good Bones”on their official channel. The members confidently strutted down the runway in the video, but the pantsless outfits worn by Huh Yun-jin and Kim Chae-won sparked controversy.
The pair confidently strolled down the street, sporting short bra tops and bottoms underneath padded jumpers. There were concerns raised about the potential impact of their revealing attire on teenagers, who make up their main consumer demographic. Others also noted that the form-fitting nature of the clothing could leave a strong impression on LE SSERAFIM.

Despite appearing on the Taiwanese show “2024 Super Star Special” on January 27, LE SSERAFIM faced criticism for sexual harassment.
After the final performance, the group joined the cast of “2024 Super Star Special” for a food tasting event. While the group was eating sweet potato balls with a bamboo skewer, Wayne Huang made inappropriate sexual comments, stating “I want to stick it in them down there.”
Despite facing severe backlash from both the Taiwanese public and international community, Hwang has issued a sincere apology, clarifying, “My intention was not to be sexual in any way. I would like to apologize to those who were made uncomfortable by my comment and assure you that I will be more mindful of my language in the future. I never intended to cause any discomfort and I am grateful for the criticism and advice. I will certainly be more cautious with my words moving forward. I deeply regret any harm caused and offer my sincerest apologies once again.”
▲ Kazuha and K’s dating rumor
On April 3rd, Japanese media reported that LE SSERAFIM member Kazuha and K, a member of HYBE’s Japanese localization group and TEAM, have been dating since 2022.
According to a report from Japanese media outlet Shukan Bunshun, Kazuha and Kay have been in a romantic relationship. The report states that the two have been friends for about a year and started dating in the summer of 2022. They briefly broke up after being caught at HYBE last summer, but got back together in the fall of last year. Additionally, a photo of the couple dining at a high-end restaurant in Ginza, Japan on March 17th was also shared. However, HYBE, the agency representing both Kazuha and Kay, has denied the rumors.
The media outlet had announced that it would publish more photos on its paid articles, however, no further reports were discovered on the published paid pages.
Coachella Live Performance
Serafim had the opportunity to play at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 13th, but there was controversy surrounding their underwhelming live performance.
Despite their high-level performance and pride in their stage presence, the group received criticism for their inconsistent pitch and vocal errors. This criticism continued during their second Coachella performance on April 20, where the use of AR technology caused their live singing to be drowned out by the loud volume.
During her press conference, Min Hee-jin brought up LE SSERAFIM.
On April 25th, Min, accompanied by her legal representative, held an urgent press conference in Seocho-gu, Seoul. During the conference, Min denied the accusations of her attempting to take over ADOR’s management rights and accused HYBE of breaking their promise to debut NewJeans before LE SSERAFIM.
