Parc Jae Jung has officially announced the date of his military enlistment, along with the exciting news of an upcoming song release before he begins his duties.
Parc Jae Jung to Begin Military Service, Teases New Song Release ‘Did Something Happen’
Parc Jae Jung announced on April 18 via his official Instagram account that he will be joining the military on May 21.
The soloist went on to express his desire to perform one more song before enlisting in the military. He then announced that the song, titled “Did Something Happen?”, would be released on May 9 by Parc Jae Jung.

“This is Park Jae Jung. I’m writing this in case you’re wondering how I’m doing. Actually, I expected my military to be known earlier, so I got busy wrapping up my activities while waiting for the enlistment notice.
However, I got notified a bit later than I anticipated. I’m here to let you know that I will be enlisting on May 21, 2024.
Since I have more time on my hands than I expected, I wanted to show you one of the songs I have been working on. It’s a song called ‘Did Something Happen?’ and I’m planning to release it on May 9. I’d appreciate it if you look forward to it.
Initially, I planned to release ‘Preparation’ before enlisting, but it was not easy to finish it according to my liking, so before that, I’ll try to release it soon.
I used to suggest that you find comfort in the songs of other singers during my absence, but I still want to leave some memorable songs and remain as an unforgettable singer. I hope you will continue to remember my songs.
I also spent my break trying to recover my voice and compose some songs. On a personal memo, my father’s birthday was on April 10, and I want to say thank you to my parents for giving me the chance to live and experience the world.
If there are any performances I can do before enlisting, I’m going to make it a priority. I would like to tell you more of this I have on my mind, but I always end up feeling both grateful and apologetic to my fans.
