A video titled “Park Bo-young’s New Part-Time Job: Getting Tickets to Lim Young-woong’s Concert”was uploaded to the YouTube channel “VOGUE KOREA”on August 5th. The video also featured Park Bo-young recommending her favorite Pyeongyang cold buckwheat noodles restaurant as part of the series “What’s on My Galaxy.”
During the video, Park Bo-young shared that she had recently taken on a part-time job, which immediately grabbed the viewers’ interest. This wasn’t the first time she mentioned it, as during her appearance on Yoo Jae-suk’s web show “Pinggyego”on the YouTube channel “DdeunDdeun”last year in October, she had also mentioned working part-time at her brother-in-law’s café during the Chuseok holiday.
Despite previously working part-time, Park Bo-young has noticed changes in the industry. During a recent shift, a customer who was the same age as her parents remarked that she looked like a college student, leading her to give them a complimentary dessert.
She comically recreated the exchange, stating, “I said to them, ‘No! I’m not young. I’m in my thirties,’ but they retorted, ‘You’re not being honest. Is it because you’re hiding behind a mask?’”
Despite my attempts to clarify that they did not know me, the person I encountered still failed to recognize me, leading me to believe that they were not familiar with me.
