The 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards were held at 8:30 p.m. on July 19th at Paradise City, Incheon. The event was hosted by MCs Jeon Hyun-moo and Yoona, and it was broadcasted live on KBS2.
The winner of Best Actress was announced to be Park Bo-young for her exceptional performance in the Netflix series “Daily Dose of Sunshine”.
As she stepped onto the stage, the actress humbly expressed, “I hold great admiration for all the veteran actors and nominees who share this nomination with me. I took on the role of Jung Da-eun in ‘Daily Dose of Sunshine’ because I wanted to connect with others and bring them solace. It was a challenging experience portraying her character.”
During the filming of the drama, my nurse colleagues Jung-eun, Sang-hee, Ji-yeon, and Lee-dam endured the process with me. We constantly supported and encouraged each other, and I am grateful to have had them by my side. Additionally, I want to express my gratitude to all the main characters who played a crucial role in the development of the story. Their performances were exceptional and I am thankful for their contributions to the drama.
Finally, Park Bo-young’s words resonated with everyone when she expressed, “For those who are facing a dark and seemingly endless night, I hope you will not become too exhausted and find the strength to persevere until morning. Thank you.”
