During 2NE1’s highly anticipated full group reunion concert, Park Bom thrilled fans by teasing her stunning visual transformation.
On August 13, fans of 2NE1 were sent into a frenzy when their leader CL shared a group photo on her Instagram story.
In the monochromatic photograph, the four members were seen back together in what appeared to be a rehearsal room, and they also tagged Park Bom, Sandara Park, and Gong Minzy in their respective social media posts.
Despite only being able to see their backs, the members emitted a powerful aura that BLACKJACKs (2NE1 fans) could already feel, building excitement for their highly anticipated world tour.
The photo also served as a reminder to K-pop stans of the quartet’s original “girl crush”concept, as they admired their stylish outfits.
Despite the presence of other members, it was Park Bom who garnered the most attention with her noticeably slimmer physique and overall improved appearance.
Despite the passage of time, Park Bom has consistently struggled with fluctuations in her weight. It was discovered that her medication for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) may have contributed to these significant changes in her body, as it impairs her ability to regulate her eating habits.
Despite the heightened criticism surrounding her body, the idol’s team released an official statement reassuring fans that she was in good health and her weight gain was a result of her reduced physical activity.
Nevertheless, it appears that she is currently putting in a lot of effort to regain her slim figure through exercise.
Despite her previous struggles, fans are thrilled by her healthier appearance and eagerly anticipating her return to the main stage. They are excited to see how she will continue to surprise and impress the K-pop community with her complete transformation.
In the meantime, 2NE1 remains hard at work, sweating and diligently rehearsing their hit songs’ choreographies with only two months remaining before their highly-anticipated world tour in celebration of their 15th anniversary since their debut.
The “2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL”is set to begin on October 5 and 6 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul. Within minutes of ticket sales opening on August 5, both performances were completely sold out, showcasing the enduring popularity and ticket-selling prowess of the legendary group.
Despite a staggering 400,000 individuals logging in at the same time in an effort to secure tickets for the shows, the majority were unsuccessful. This resulted in a call for a bigger venue and more shows to be added due to the high demand.
After their performance in Seoul, 2NE1 will continue their concert tour with shows in Kobe at the end of November and Tokyo in the beginning of December.
In the coming year, they plan to continue expanding their global tour schedule and reaching even more audiences.
