Today, October 16th, the announcement of her involvement surfaced via a trailer for Nissy’s upcoming six-dome tour musical drama. In this trailer, Park Min-young piques interest with an emotionally charged performance, showcasing her endearing persona while also displaying a vulnerable side with tears. She delivers poignant lines in Korean, including “I wish this moment could last forever” and “Is there magic somewhere that can keep us together like this?”, solidifying her role as an advocate for the Korean language within Japan.
The partnership between Park Min-young and Nissy stems from a personal invitation extended by Nissy, adding a layer of significance to their collaboration. Despite the language differences, both actors, who are of the same age group, demonstrated remarkable chemistry during their initial filming, mutually encouraging one another and fostering a captivating atmosphere.
Nissy, a prominent figure in the entertainment industry since his debut in 2005, is both a singer and an actor who has garnered several rookie awards in Japan. After launching his solo career in 2013, he achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the youngest Japanese male solo artist to sell out a nationwide four-dome tour in 2019. In 2022, he celebrated another achievement by completing a six-dome tour. Beginning in November 2024, he will make history as the first Japanese solo artist to undertake a second nationwide six-dome tour, during which the entire narrative of the musical drama featuring Park Min-young will be revealed. The project is directed by Shigeaki Kubo, who has collaborated with top-tier artists such as EXILE, Namie Amuro, and DREAMS COME TRUE.
