On July 28th, Park Seul-gi shared a throwback photo with Lee Ji-hoon on her personal SNS account, along with the caption, “I had a blast filming ‘Wet Dreams 2′ with Ji-hoon – he’s still an older brother I admire” , and added, “Oppa, congratulations on becoming a father” .
Despite not explicitly mentioning Lee Ji-hoon in her statement about celebrity abuse of power, Park Seul-gi’s heartfelt message for the actor made it clear that he was not involved in the issue.
Before this, Lee Ji-hoon had shared a screenshot of harmful comments directed towards Park Seul-gi on his social media account. In a statement, he expressed remorse, saying, “I would like to offer my sincere apologies to anyone who has been hurt by my actions in the past.”He also urged for an end to the criticism towards Seul-gi and requested for the issue to be resolved. He clarified that speculations being made were incorrect.
Ayane, the wife of Lee Ji-hoon, also made a statement on her account in response to numerous DMs regarding the rumors. She reassured everyone by saying, “There’s no need for concern. Those rumors do not involve my husband.”
On the 18th, Lee Ji-hoon and Ayane joyfully welcomed their first daughter. Despite being busy caring for their newborn, the couple remains proactive in addressing any rumors.
