Park Yoochun posted two photos on his account on April 17th, along with the caption “-happy +happy”. In the first photo, he can be seen wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt and resting his chin on his hands while looking off into the distance. The camera zooms in on his forearm, showcasing his tattoos. The second photo also displays his tattoos.
Upon viewing the post, fans expressed their worries, stating, “He seems to have a lot of tattoos,”and “I hope he doesn’t continue getting more tattoos.”In reply, Park Yoochun remarked, “You don’t have to approve of my new tattoo, but it is a part of who I am. However, I still need to learn how to do live broadcasts. Hahahaha.”
After seeing Park Yoochun’s comment, fans replied with messages such as “I wish you happiness”, “I hope you are doing well and happy”, and “The tattoos are awesome.”
Despite his vehement denial of allegations and holding an urgent press conference, Park Yoochun was arrested in 2018 for using Philopon. He was sentenced to ten months imprisonment, suspended for two years. Despite stating that he would retire from the entertainment industry if found guilty, a drug test confirmed his drug use, resulting in his expulsion from the industry.
Last December, he gained attention for being labeled a habitual tax defaulter by the National Tax Service. It was revealed that he had not paid 490 million won in taxes, including five instances of evading capital gains tax in 2016.
Despite initially appearing to have retired from the entertainment industry, Park Yoochun surprised his fans when he announced his return after only a year. In celebration of his 20th debut anniversary, he held fan meetings and dinner shows in Japan from February 9th to 11th, despite facing scandals involving drug use and tax evasion.
