Rio is a brand new 6v6 multiplayer map.

Deploy into a swanky Rio de Janeiro mall in a new mid-sized 6v6 multiplayer map, featuring an indoor mall surrounded by Main Street, a tram station, a market, a plaza and cafe, and residential spaces.

Use the covered walkway to gain height over your enemies or take cover near an armored vehicle during street-level combat.

New Modes: Team Skirmish, Headquarters, Infected

  • Team Skirmish : Experience Skirmish mode on a larger scale. In this version, players compete in 6v6 on standard multiplayer maps. Like in Skirmish, all players receive the same random equipment at the start of each round. This equipment changes throughout the game.
  • Headquarters: Secure the Headquarters objective and hold the position as long as possible to accumulate points. Hold on, because respawns are disabled for the defending team. The objective rotates around the map throughout the game, so be prepared to change positions at any time.
  • Infected : Start the game with a player randomly designated as the starting infected. The infected player’s objective is to eliminate and turn all other players into Infected Operators who then join their side, while the remaining survivors must use their best skills and strategies to keep the infected at bay.

Ranked Modern Warfare 3
Activision

Ranked mode will finally appear on Modern Warfare 3.

Season 1 Update Reload also introduces the long-awaited Ranked mode to Modern Warfare 3. Play like the pros in competitive 4v4 matches using the same settings, maps and modes as the Call of Duty League (CDL).

Ranked mode is available once players reach at least level 55. All unrestricted game items are unlocked for use in this mode. Certain weapons, killstreaks, gear, and game content are restricted in Ranked mode to match CDL competitive rules.

  • Rank: You will start at Rank 1. Your rank represents your ranking. Win games to earn stars and level up. The rank is permanent and persists through the seasons.
  • Skill Division: You will start your first season in Bronze I. Progress through 8 Skill Divisions and Tiers by earning SR (Skill Rating). SRs are awarded when you win based on personal and team performance. In subsequent seasons, you will be demoted by three Tiers. The highest Skill Division in which you can start a new season is Diamond I.
  • Note that SR penalties will result from inactivity, disconnecting games, and repeated friendly fire.
  • Winning Streak: Win three games in a row to earn a Flame Rank. Keep winning to advance the Hot Streak flames. Flames expire if you lose or after 72 hours.

And there you have it, you know all the new features of the Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded update.
