Path of Exile 2 Full Release Date: All the Latest Information

Path of Exile 2 has launched into early access, captivating players with its engaging content. However, the timeline for its complete release remains uncertain. Here, we compile the latest insights regarding the anticipated full release of this exciting title.

The early access phase of Path of Exile 2 has proved to be a triumph, positioning it as a formidable contender against the Diablo series—far surpassing the original Path of Exile. Yet, this early version features only a fraction of the game’s ultimate offering.

While players are enjoying the current gameplay, many are eager to discover when the full version will debut. It’s important to note that early access is essentially a beta experience, indicating more content is on the way.

Path of Exile 2 will feature a minimum of 12 character classes in its complete form.

Projected Release Date for Path of Exile 2

At this moment, a specific release date for the full version of Path of Exile 2 remains unconfirmed.

Jonathan Rodgers, the game director, has indicated that the full release will occur after an early access period of at least six months. During a recent livestream, Rodgers mentioned (around the 20:40 mark of the video linked below), “At least six months, maybe a little bit more. I certainly don’t want it to take more than a year.”

Considering that early access commenced on December 6, 2024, players can expect the full release potentially in late May or June 2025. However, with Rodgers’ comments hinting at the possibility of a delay, the complete version of Path of Exile 2 could very well arrive in the latter half of 2025.

Content Available at Full Launch

The early access version does not encompass all game content. Presently, players can explore only three out of a planned six acts.

In terms of character options, early access allows players to choose among six classes, with each class offering only two out of the intended three ascendancies. Upon the game’s full release, players will have access to the complete twelve character classes along with the full spectrum of class builds and gameplay experiences.

This means the full release will effectively double the available content, including the conclusion of the story and comprehensive character development options.
