Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is coming to PC later this year after much speculation. Release date, new PC hardware-specific features and more, here’s everything you need to know.

Ghost of Tsushima initially launched as one of the final first-party PS4 games in 2020. The following year, it received a Director’s Cut edition for PS5 owners with improved features and new content, as well as a DLC campaign.

After rumors that the game would eventually launch on other platforms, Sony has announced that Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be available on PC. Here are all the details.

Ghost of Tsushima release date on PC

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut launches for PC on May 16, 2024. It is currently available for pre-order on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The port is developed by Nixxes, a studio experienced in PC ports. The company is also responsible for the upcoming PC port of Horizon Forbidden West and is also a property of Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Features of Ghost of Tsushima on PC

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut adds a variety of new features exclusive to the PC version that take advantage of the hardware and software for those who have the ability. Here’s the full list of everything included, as announced by Sony:

  • Support for 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 ultra-wide resolutions
  • NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3 upscaling and imaging options
  • Native AA quality options NVIDIA DLAA or FSR 3
  • Remapping Steam input controller controls
  • Support for PlayStation DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers

The first official trailer for Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC was released on March 6, 2024 and can be viewed below.

It highlights some of the new PC-specific features coming to the game, including ultra-wide resolutions, Nvidia Reflex low latency support, and upscaling technologies.

The trailer also shows that all content available in the PS5 version of the game will be available here, including the Iki Island expansion, Legends multiplayer, and Kurosawa mode.
