Perfect Match’s Justin admits he may have been “love bombing” Elys in Season 2

Justin believed he had met his Perfect Match on the show, but Elys did not reciprocate his feelings. As a result, he has decided to speak up about the situation.

A notable match that emerged during Season 2 was between Elys Hutchinson from Too Hot To Handle and Justin Assada from Surviving Paradise.

Despite appearing to have a good relationship, Elys surprisingly decided to pair up with Bryton Constantin, a former contestant on Squid Game: The Challenge.

This led to Justin’s elimination from the competition in Episode 9, causing a significant uproar among fans.

After the episode aired and he had some time to contemplate his on-screen journey, Justin took to TikTok on June 14 to share his reflections on the experience. In a video posted on his account, the reality TV star gave a comprehensive recap of his journey.

Initially, he expressed his disappointment over Elys’ decision, stating that he felt “deeply wounded”due to the strong connection they formed while filming. Justin specifically pointed out her “genuineness”on the show, implying that she may have only chosen to be with him in order to progress in the game.

Nevertheless, he acknowledged that he appeared extremely devoted to Elys, despite having only met her a few days ago.

In the video, he explained that his actions may have seemed overwhelming or like love bombing to some, but for him, it was simply a way to make amends for his past mistakes. He acknowledged the times when he failed to express himself properly or missed opportunities to show more affection, causing him to lose important relationships.

Despite the fact that Elys has not responded to his video or shared her own story about her time on the show, the lack of reunion segments on Perfect Match means that the possibility of the former couple reuniting and addressing their past may never come to fruition.
