Prior to taking the stage as a solo artist at the 2024 MTV VMAs, BLACKPINK’s Lisa shared a sneak peek into her preparations with a recent photo.

On September 8, the global superstar raised fans’ excitement by posting a new picture on her Instagram story.

The photo captured her sneakers in the practice room, accompanied by the caption, “4 more days till VMAs.”

The photo evokes memories of a similar post from 2022 when she was practicing with BLACKPINK. However, this time, she will be performing solo, representing her own label, LLOUD.

The MTV Video Music Awards 2024 is scheduled for September 11 at the UBS Arena in New York. Lisa is set to make history with her solo debut on the main MTV stage.

She will perform her hit single, “Rockstar,”along with her latest release, “New Woman,”featuring ROSALÍA. This event marks a significant milestone as she performs alongside iconic international artists such as Katy Perry, Camila Cabello, and Megan Thee Stallion.

Meanwhile, anticipation builds regarding whether Lisa will add another award to her collection after becoming the first solo artist to win “Best in K-pop”in 2023.

Lisa is nominated for “Rockstar”in four categories: “Best K-pop,””Best Choreography,””Best Editing,”and “Best Art Direction.”
