Photo Locations in Life Is Strange: Double Exposure Chapter 1

As with the original installment, Life is Strange: Double Exposure features various collectibles scattered throughout each chapter. These collectibles consist of Polaroid snapshots that players can discover through meticulous exploration. Below, we outline the locations of all the photos available in Chapter 1 of Life Is Strange: Double Exposure.

In the first chapter, you can find a total of three Polaroid photos. These items are relatively straightforward to locate, and we will guide you on where to find each one and the right moments to collect them.

First Polaroid Photo – A Drink to Remember

In the second subchapter, Max and Safi find themselves at the Snapping Turtle bar. Following a brief conversation, Max departs from the table, allowing her the freedom to explore the bar.

Head towards the fireplace, which prominently features a pirate mural on the adjacent wall. It’s the only fireplace in the establishment.

Then, proceed to the right until you come across a shelf adorned with a cow painting situated above it. The Polaroid can be found on the far right side of this shelf.

Second Polaroid Photo – Things Are Looking Up

After enjoying a drink with Safi and Moses on the rooftop, Max will eventually descend and journey towards the observatory trail in search of Safi.

Continue along the trail until you can take a small left turn.

Make the left turn and grab the Polaroid lying on the ground.

Third Polaroid Photo – Upstairs, Downcast

The final Polaroid for Chapter One can be found in Max’s art residence. After the loss of Safi, Amanda comes to check on Max, who must clean up her space before Amanda arrives. During this time, players can retrieve the last Polaroid positioned on a table next to a telescope.

Once you’ve gathered all three Polaroids, you’ll unlock the achievement titled “A Trick of the Light.” Each chapter offers its own rewards for collecting all the Polaroid photographs.

Revisiting Chapters for Collectibles

If you happen to overlook any collectibles during your initial playthrough, you have the option to revisit any chapter. This allows you to freely explore and skip through dialogues.
