Four years after their dating rumors first sparked, former EXO member Tao and former SM Rookies member Xu Yiyang have finally made their relationship official in the most heartwarming manner!
On July 14, Tao disclosed a major announcement and confessed his true score with Xu Yiyang.
Tao made waves on China’s social media platform, Weibo, when he shared multiple photos with his girlfriend and mentioned her official account. In his statement, he shocked the entire entertainment industry by expressing:

Despite facing criticism from sasaengs, Tao and Yiyang chose to keep their relationship private and remained silent about it for years. In 2012, Tao debuted with EXO, but he departed from the group in 2015. Since then, he has been primarily active in the Greater China region. Xu Yiyang, who was first introduced as a trainee under SM Entertainment’s “SM Rookies”in 2016, has also returned to China and is now pursuing a career as a singer and actress.
