Pizza Hut is elevating its standards and offering customers a contemporary twist on a traditional pizza option.
Despite being one of the largest pizza chains in the world, Pizza Hut is always open to trying new menu items. With a presence in over 18,000 locations globally, the restaurant is constantly innovating and introducing new dishes. Therefore, when a new item is announced, customers are sure to take notice.
Pizza Hut’s latest addition is their own take on the beloved Chicago deep-dish pizza, known as the Chicago Tavern-style Pizza. While other pizza chains have attempted to emulate the classic recipe, Pizza Hut stands out as the first to add their own twist to this iconic dish.
Instead of their usual thick-crust style, Pizza Hut has decided to offer a tavern-style pizza with a thin base. This new option is said to be inspired by the bar pies of Chicago and is crafted with a touch of Pizza Hut’s signature magic.
There are four new pizza varieties in the lineup
The latest pizza is available in four distinct types, which include:
- This Pesto Margherita Tavern Pizza is topped with marinara sauce, grape tomatoes, garlic, and a delicious basil pesto infused with parmesan-oregano seasoning. All served on a Thin ‘N Crispy crust.
- The Ultimate Tavern Pizza from Pizza Hut is made with a delicious combination of pepperoni, sausage, roasted peppers, onions, and grape tomatoes, all sprinkled with parmesan-oregano seasoning and served on their Thin ‘N Crispy crust.
- The Spicy Chicken Sausage Tavern Pizza contains a Thin ‘N Crispy crust topped with a spicy marinara base, chicken sausage, roasted peppers, sweet caramelized onions, and parmesan-oregano seasoning.
- The Double Pepperoni Tavern Pizza consists of a Thin ‘N Crispy crust topped with marinara, the chain’s signature pepperoni, crispy pepperoni cubes, and a sprinkling of parmesan-oregano seasoning.
The pizzas will be available for purchase at participating restaurants nationwide in the US, while supplies last.
