Crafting copper chains requires basic materials that are accessible to players. You will need the following items:

1 Copper Ingot
2 Copper Nuggets

To obtain these materials, players must mine copper ore, typically found at Y-level 43 or on exposed mountain peaks. Once mined, the ore yields raw copper, which can be smelted in a furnace to produce copper ingots. Additionally, each ingot can be converted into 9 copper nuggets within the game. Finally, a crafting table is essential for crafting the chains.

Steps to Craft Copper Chains in Minecraft

With your materials ready, follow these steps to create copper chains:

Place the crafting table on the ground and right-click to access its interface.
Position the copper ingot in the center of the 3×3 crafting grid, with one nugget above and one below the ingot.
The resulting single copper chain will appear in the right cell of the grid.

Players can remove patina from oxidized chains using an axe to restore their original color, or alternatively, they can wax a copper chain with honeycomb to preserve its state permanently.
