In response, Min Hee Jin held a press conference to defend herself and presented incriminating evidence against HYBE’s founder, Bang SI Hyuk, leading to further backlash.

Emergency Press Conference Held by ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin
On April 25, 2024, Min Hee Jin, CEO of ADOR, addressed a sudden press conference at the Korea Conference Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
In light of evidence that ADOR’s management, specifically CEO Min Hee Jin, had made attempts to gain complete control of the company, HYBE initiated an investigation. According to reports, the HYBE audit team retrieved company computer assets by visiting the management offices of ADOR.
HYBE has reason to believe that once they obtain management rights, the individuals in question may choose to pursue their own endeavors and eventually depart from HYBE. Additionally, they have stated that they have discovered evidence of ADOR’s management sharing confidential materials, including contracts, in an effort to attract investors, as well as participating in malicious attacks against HYBE artists.
HYBE intends to utilize their secured computer assets to take legal measures if deemed necessary.
In response to these accusations, Min Hee Jin held a press conference in order to not only refute the allegations against her, but also to present proof of HYBE’s wrongdoing.

One of the accusations that stood out among those she claimed against HYBE and Bang Si Hyuk.
During the press conference, Min Hee Jin presented screenshots of her KakaoTalk conversation with Bang Si Hyuk on December 2, 2021. In their discussion, he extended an invitation for Min Hee Jin to join the company and assist with shaping the company’s branding. During their conversation, he also mentioned aespa.

He inquired if he could “crush aespa.”Min Hee Jin responded with a simple laugh. He then followed up with an emoticon implying that he was leaving that task to her.
Bang Si Hyuk: “You’ll be able to crush aespa, right?”
Min Hee Jin: “Hahaha.”
Bang Si Hyuk: “Hahah. (emoticon) I’ll leave it up to you.”
In a separate screenshot, Bang Si Hyuk urges Min Hee Jin to let go of her previous role as creative director at SM Entertainment and promises to create a new world for her.
Bang Si Hyuk: “Forget aespa. Let’s make Min Hee Jin World.”
Min Hee Jin: “It’s just…”
Bang Si Hyuk: “Don’t worry.”
Min Hee in: “I’m not worried, LOL. I just wonder if (censored) have to such say things (cut off).”
