Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, a renowned figure in the streaming community, has announced an indefinite hiatus from broadcasting. His decision stems from ongoing frustrations with the multiplayer game Arc Raiders, which has been increasingly affected by rampant cheating.

Arc Raiders, developed by Embark Studios, is a third-person extraction shooter that has recently seen a surge in hacking activities. Many players have voiced their concerns about the game’s compromised integrity, resorting to platforms like Reddit to express their frustrations.

Ninja Declares Arc Raiders “Literally Unplayable”

Once a dominant figure in the Fortnite scene, Ninja transitioned to focusing on Arc Raiders following its launch in late 2025. However, the continuous exploitation by cheaters has led Ninja to a breaking point, as he now finds it impossible to enjoy the game. His decision to abstain from streaming was publicly shared during an April 8 broadcast.

In his stream, he stated, “I’m not getting on Arc, and I’m not playing anything else other than League. So if I get on, it’s gonna be League, or a sports show. I’m not even joking. I could play League tomorrow; I could play League in a week. I don’t know. I’m taking a break.”

Ninja specifically addressed the issue of stream snipers, who use his live broadcasts to track and eliminate him in-game, further emphasizing the game’s deteriorating experience: “Arc was sustaining me like crazy. It was a blast. And then the cheating and the updates… the stream sniping-cheating just sent me over the edge. It makes the game literally unplayable. There’s no other game that I really want to do right now.”

Reactions to Ninja’s announcement have been varied, yet the rampant cheating issues within Arc Raiders‘ PvP environment and top-tier lobbies have sparked widespread discussion across social media platforms and gaming forums since early 2026.

Embark Studios has responded to the growing concerns by promising to implement significant changes to address these cheating issues. These measures include refunds for in-game items lost to dishonest players. However, as of now, players remain dissatisfied with the lack of effective solutions, causing many to step back from engaging with the game until substantial improvements are made.
