This was evident when a Safeway store in Santa Fe, California, became the target of a theft that amounted to over $2, 000 in Christmas decorations.

Details of the Crime

The incident occurred at the end of November, leading to a swift response from local law enforcement. Following an investigation, police were successful in identifying the culprits and executed a search warrant at their residence in Vallejo, California, on December 4.

Arrest and Recovery

The two suspects, identified as 29-year-old Kayla Daniels and 39-year-old Joshua Gonzales, were arrested with all stolen property recovered during the operation. They are now facing charges for Grand Theft and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime and have been booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections. In a heartwarming gesture, the recovered Christmas trees and wreaths were returned to the Safeway store.
