Once you enter the Ice King’s palace, you’ll encounter a grid-block puzzle where the primary goal is to push the ice cube into the green gate. However, the real challenge is controlling the cube, as it will only move in straight lines and continues until it collides with an obstacle.

To effectively manage the ice cube, Mio can transform into her ape form to push the block, while Zoe can adopt her tree form to create barriers that will stop the cube’s movement.

Start by facing the opposite direction of your entry, positioning yourself to look at the purple door, which we’ll designate as North. The green gate is located to the east. Follow these instructions for an efficient solution:

  • Push the ice cube toward the edge of the room, heading in the opposite direction of your entryway (toward the purple door).
  • Lift the barrier to the west in line with the block, then push the ice cube toward it. After this, raise the barrier to the south to direct the cube accordingly.
  • Next, raise the barrier to the east, near the green gate, in line with the block and push it into position. Ensure you lift the southern barrier for additional support.
  • Finally, push the ice block towards the newly positioned barrier; it should align perfectly with the green gate, allowing you to unlock it.

Once the gate is unlocked, Mio and Zoe can advance into the Ice King’s lair. Take a moment to appreciate the beautifully crafted environment this fictional world offers!
