Unlocking Weapon Camos in Black Ops 7 Will Be Simpler Than Ever

The developers behind Black Ops 7 have unveiled a significant transformation in how players can unlock weapon camos in the latest installment of the franchise.

For many Call of Duty enthusiasts, earning weapon camos and skins becomes a primary objective during the early stages of a new game. Some players aim for the prestige of being among the first globally to unlock the most coveted camos.

For those who may find this pursuit rather daunting or time-consuming, especially casual gamers who are not willing to invest excessive hours, there is great news regarding Black Ops 7.

Enhanced Accessibility to Weapon Camos in Black Ops 7

The latest installment makes it easier than ever to earn your weapon camos, introducing multiple avenues for players. The game features a restructured pacing across 16 mastery camo levels, reducing the requirement for headshot challenges significantly.

Players will only need to achieve 80 headshots for each weapon to complete the nine military-level camos. Furthermore, shotguns will now require close-range kills while sniper rifles will be limited to one-shot kills.

Additionally, developers have announced that there will now be three Special Camos available per weapon, as opposed to the previous two. Importantly, players can equip any Universal Camo to any weapon without the need to first unlock five military camos on that specific gun.

Moreover, players will find additional camo unlocks through Weapon Prestiges!

Another area of improvement is the previous “more challenging” Warzone Camo Challenges, which have been reassessed to be more manageable in Black Ops 7.

Importantly, players can still unlock camos across various modes, including Co-Op Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

Each weapon will also come with three distinctive Universal Camos, which players can unlock through extensive progression in Black Ops 7’s Weapon Prestige system with that specific weapon. To keep the experience fresh, additional challenges—both weekly and seasonal—will be available for unlocking camos.
