After successfully conquering Elden Ring, Twitch streamer Dr. Doot is now embarking on a new quest to master Hollow Knight: Silksong—but with a unique twist, utilizing a saxophone as his controller.
Each time a formidable game is released, some players delight in showcasing their extraordinary skills, which can range from achieving record speedruns to completing games in unconventional manners. Dr. Doot exemplifies this trend by taking on daunting challenges using a musical instrument instead of a traditional controller.
Having traversed the expansive world of Elden Ring, including its challenging Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, he is now facing the intense trials of Hollow Knight: Silksong, and has already conquered one of the game’s toughest sections.
Dr. Doot Triumphs Over Silksong’s Path of Pain
On September 25, Dr. Doot showcased an impressive feat by posting a clip of his successful completion of Path of Pain 2, a notorious secret area recognized for its high difficulty level within the game. Many players find this segment daunting even with a conventional controller, so to navigate it using a saxophone is a remarkable achievement.
Utilizing an electric saxophone, Dr. Doot has ingeniously assigned sound effects to each control input, creating a delightful melody for Hornet as she dodges peril at every turn. Upon reaching the pinnacle of the challenging ascent, he exhaled a heartfelt sigh of relief, marking the culmination of an extraordinary effort.
