Players Struggling Against Early Mini-Boss in Black Myth Wukong

“Players are facing tough challenges from one of the initial mini-bosses in Black Myth Wukong, but they are determined to continue fighting.”

Despite being released on August 20, 2024, Black Myth Wukong has already made a huge impact in the video game world. Within just 24 hours of its release, the game skyrocketed up Steam’s charts and even shattered player count records.

The immersive gameplay and difficulty of Black Myth Wukong are key factors in its instant success, with many drawing comparisons to FromSoftware’s Elden Ring and Dark Souls.

Although some gamers may find the challenge enjoyable, others are already facing difficulties in progressing through the game, with one early boss causing frustration among players.

Just beyond the edge of the Wolf Forest, a place that players will come across in the beginning stages of the game, they will have the opportunity to engage in a mini-boss fight. This particular foe is referred to as the Wandering Wight in the game, and can be easily recognized by its oversized head.

The Wandering Wight is a formidable enemy that players will encounter early on. Its attacks are difficult to avoid and inflict significant damage. In addition, the creature possesses a large amount of health, making it a challenging and grueling battle for all who face it.

The frustration of Black Myth Wukong players has been widely expressed on social media, as they are unable to defeat the Wight.

On X, a player inquired, “Is anyone else getting defeated by the Wandering Wight in Wukong?”This prompted other gamers to join in and discuss their own difficulties with the battle.

One individual agreed, saying they were in the same situation and acknowledged that they were currently struggling against the mini-boss. Another person commented, “I just defeated it, it was tough. I think I reached this point at level 4 and now I’m at level 9, geez.”
