On July 29th, internet users left disapproving remarks on Hani’s social media account, referencing her marriage to psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong.
On July 26th, a media outlet had reported that a patient who had been admitted to a hospital run by a renowned psychiatrist had passed away 17 days later.
The CCTV footage from the solitary room at the psychiatric hospital revealed that despite the patient’s complaints of stomach pain, the staff proceeded to tie their hands and feet. The staff did not take any significant action even as the patient’s abdomen began to swell and they experienced a nosebleed.
There is a growing belief among netizens that Dr. Yang Jae-woong, Hani’s fiancé, is the owner of the psychiatric hospital in question.
The patient was admitted to the hospital for addiction treatment related to the use of diet pills containing narcotics. Unfortunately, the patient passed away after being hospitalized for 17 days. The family of the deceased expressed that they chose this hospital specifically because of its renowned psychiatrist and addiction program. Throughout the patient’s stay, they were confined to a single room and only given medication until their unfortunate death.
