Pledis’ Visual Director Addresses Toxic Fans, Expressing Exhaustion and Mental Strain

On June 3, the visual director of Pledis – the agency of SEVENTEEN, fromis_9, and TWS and a subsidiary under HYBE, posted an Instagram story stating their retirement.

The director announced their resignation from Pledis after 2 years of service and mentioned that they are currently in the US. They also stated that due to exhaustion, they will be taking a break before working as a freelancer.

According to the director, their responsibilities solely involve planning and creating visuals, and do not include overseeing group content or units. Despite this, they continue to receive threatening and malicious comments and direct messages from toxic fans through Instagram.
