In The Plucky Squire, virtually every level presents you with engaging puzzles essential for advancing to the next stage. One notable challenge features a stacked books puzzle that requires you to navigate across a crevice using a pile of books. Retrieve the Key & Unlock the Blue Door

As you delve deeper into Chapter 2 of The Plucky Squire, you’ll encounter the stacked books puzzle. Your mission is to traverse the crevice by positioning an object within it. Begin by moving to the left side of the area to collect the key from the elevated platform.

Approaching the key will prompt a red door to block your path. At this point, Humpgrump’s minions will appear nearby. Defeat them to unlock the red door, and then use your key on the blue door located to the right.

Scatter the Books & Arrange the Pages

Once you unlock the blue door, you’ll find a phrase on the ground that states “Pages Were Scattered On The Ground.” Strike your sword at the word “Scattered” to free it from the sentence.

After obtaining the word “Scattered,” head to the center area where another sentence reads “These Books Had Been Purposefully Stacked.” Strike the word “Stacked” and replace it with “Scattered.” This will cause the stacked books pile to scatter before you, but the puzzle won’t be solved just yet.

Upon scattering the books, pick up the word “Stacked” once more. Now proceed to the area with the pages and substitute “Stacked” in the sentence that now states “Pages Were Stacked On The Ground.” This action will generate a stack of pages that you can interact with.

Your final task is to drag the newly formed stack of pages toward the crevice where the original pile of books was located. Once the stack of pages is placed over the crevice, they will drop down, creating an accessible pathway for Jot and his companions to advance to the next area.
