Pokemon and Breaking Bad collide in the “dumbest” way imaginable

For years, individuals have drawn comparisons between Pokemon and popular celebrities. However, a player recently discovered a striking resemblance between a Pokemon and a character from Breaking Bad.

Spinda, a beloved third-generation Pokemon, has an appearance that is determined by its personality value and consists of countless variations of its signature swirls and sprites. This unique characteristic has made it a fan favorite and it was recently introduced to the popular game, Pokemon Go.

Thanks to a distinctive swirl combination that bears a striking resemblance to actor Jonathan Banks, known for his role as Michael Ehrmantraut in AMC’s popular series Breaking Bad, the mon has once again become a topic of conversation in the community.

Zack K, a user on X, showcased their encounter with the Pokemon Spinda in Renegade Platinum. To further emphasize the similarity, they cleverly named the caught Pokemon “Waltuh,”a nod to Walter White, the main character in Breaking Bad.

On social media, it was reported that they discovered the most foolish Spinda pattern ever.

The post has garnered responses from fans of both franchises. One social media user went as far as quoting one of Michael’s famous speeches from the show as if he were a character in a Pokemon game.

“We had a perfect setup, you foolish [Spinda Cry]! Skarmory was on our team, we had Route 113, and everything flowed smoothly like Klingklang. If you had just kept quiet, used Teeter Dance, we could’ve made all the Poke Dollars we needed. It was an ideal situation,”they stated.

The Spinda poster was also in high demand among Pokemon players, who requested it through PkHeX in order to save and add it to their own collection. One commenter was more than willing to fulfill this request, as shown by their enthusiastic response on Twitter.

Although it’s not the first instance of Breaking Bad and Pokemon crossing over through fan creations or memes, this is certainly one of the funniest.
