The anticipated release of Stellar Crown is scheduled for September 13. However, the appearance of pre-release promo cards for Surging Sparks online caused concern among fans that the upcoming set had been overshadowed by The Pokemon Company.
A perplexed collector questioned why the Surging Sparks promo cards were being displayed on X before the Stellar Crown promos. They requested an explanation for this sequence of events.
Another Pokemon TCG player, who was also active on the PokeBeach forum, commented, “It’s quite strange that these promos are being revealed just a little over a week before the Stellar Crown pre-releases begin. And to make matters more unpredictable, we still haven’t been informed about the pre-release promos that will be included.”
At the time of writing, the pre-release promo cards for Stellar Crown have not been revealed yet, as they do not have a set release date. However, the online Pokemon TCG community has already expressed their surprise at the unusual pacing for these pre-releases.
Despite the excitement surrounding the Surging Sparks announcement, some fans expressed their concerns about the announcement itself. One fan even joked in response to the official Pokemon TCG X post about the set, stating, “Isn’t this like the 4847373728384th set announced this year?”Another fan urged the creators to slow down, exclaiming, “We can’t keep up with all these new sets!”
