Pokemon fans imagine “incredible” fourth forms for Pokemon

This fan theory has gained popularity as Pokemon are imagined with a formidable fourth form in a series of fan art, featuring a space-themed version of a beloved Kantonian character.

For those who have always wished to witness Gengar’s evolution, this latest Pokemon fan art is a must-see. Despite the ongoing rumors of a hidden fourth form for the past twenty years, this unwritten rule of Pokemon remains unbroken. However, it hasn’t stopped fans from envisioning potential new forms.

HoopsandHipHop, a popular Pokemon content creator on YouTube, recently uploaded a new video featuring unique and well-crafted designs for some of the iconic creatures in the franchise. In the video, HoopsandHipHop showcases new forms for Blaziken and Talonflame, as well as a fan-favorite, Gengar.

The idea of a fourth form in the Gastly-line is particularly noteworthy, as it suggests that Gengar could evolve into Sinistar, a Pokemon that is based on black holes and appears to be a logical continuation of this eerie evolutionary line.

Additionally, Gengar’s bond with Clefairy and Clefable is noteworthy, as the ethereal Fairy-type Pokemon Clefable is often considered to be Gengar’s counterpart. Many fans believe that Gengar may be a shadow or deceased manifestation of Clefable.

A fan also mentions a fascinating and potentially scientific explanation for the evolution, stating, “It’s amazing that Sinistar is a blackhole because Ghastly is made of gas, Haunter is still able to float but is becoming more compact, and Gengar is completely solid. Therefore, Sinistar’s extreme density as a blackhole is truly impressive.”

In the midst of this, certain fans are also sharing their own concepts for how evolutions could be achieved. One comment suggests that Gengar could evolve by collecting a specific number of star pieces or comet shards in your inventory.

The video, created by HoopsandHopHop, is one installment in a series that covers various potential forms for popular picks such as Pikachu and many others.

To see if fans’ hopes for a fourth form will ever be realized, we will have to wait for the release of the next mainline game, Pokemon Legends Z-A. However, we can at least anticipate the return of Mega Evolution in the meantime.
