Pokemon Go players can discover Fossil Pokemon such as Tyrunt and Tirtouga by completing the Adventure Week 2024 Premium Timed Research challenge.
The annual Pokemon Go Adventure Week 2024 event began on August 2nd. During this highly anticipated event, players have the opportunity to come across elusive Fossil Pokemon such as Kabuto, Cranidos, and Aerodactyl.
In addition, trainers will have an increased chance of encountering certain creatures through Timed Research. A premium Timed Research challenge was released alongside the event, offering trainers the opportunity to find Shieldon, Cranidos, Tyrunt, and other creatures.

Adventure Week 2024 Premium Timed Research Tasks & Rewards

- Explore two km – Tyrunt encounter
- Explore two km – Amaura encounter
- Explore four km – Tyrunt encounter
- Explore four km – Amaura encounter
- Hatch an Egg – Archen encounter
- Hatch an Egg – Tirtouga encounter
- Hatch two Eggs – Archen encounter
- Hatch two Eggs – Tirtouga encounter
- Complete 10 Field Research tasks – Cranidos encounter
- Complete 10 Field Research tasks – Shieldon encounter
The tasks are easy to understand. Furthermore, it should be pointed out that Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura can be obtained from seven km eggs during this event.
Prizes: Double the amount of Incubators, one Super Incubator, and an opportunity to encounter Aerodactyl.
How to Access Adventure Week 2024 Premium Timed Research
This Timed Research challenge will require a payment of $2.00 USD (or equivalent in one’s local currency). Trainers will also have the opportunity to give a ticket to a friend, as long as they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.
Due to the nature of Timed Research, both the challenge and rewards have an expiration date. It is imperative that all rewards are claimed before 11:59 PM on August 12, 2024, in your local time zone.
