Pokemon Go Alolan Marowak Guide

Alolan Marowak, the evolved form of Cubone, offers a unique twist on the classic Pokemon. In our comprehensive guide, discover how to add this variant to your collection in Pokemon Go, along with important information.

Ever since its debut in Pokemon Sun & Moon, Alolan Marowak has been a fascinating reinterpretation of the classic Kantonian Pokemon from the original games, Pokemon Red & Blue. While the original Marowak is a Ground type, the Alolan variant boasts a unique combination of Fire and Ghost typing.

Alolan Marowak became available in Pokemon Go in July 2018 and features a significantly darker appearance compared to its standard form. Its bone boomerang is now adorned with flames on both sides, resembling a baton. This unique variant of Marowak is equipped with a special move called Bonemerang, which allows it to hurl its bone weapon at opponents with precision.
