The next Pokemon GO Community Day for April 2024 will feature Bellsprout, the Flower Pokemon.
Pokemon GO May 2024 Community Day Date and Time
The Bellsprout Community Day event is scheduled for April 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in local time.
July 2024 Community Featured Pokemon and Featured Attack
During April 2024’s Community Day, trainers will have the opportunity to encounter Bellsprout, a dual Grass- and Poison-type Pokemon. This event will increase the likelihood of encountering Bellsprout in the wild, and there is a possibility of finding a shiny version. Furthermore, Bellsprout found in the wild during the event have a higher chance of being shiny compared to usual.

During Bellsprout Community Day, you can use 25 Bellsprout Candy to evolve Bellsprout into Weepinbell. Additionally, if you evolve Weepinbell into Vicreebel (using 100 Bellsprout Candy) between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. local time on April 20, it will learn the fast attack Magical Leaf. This special evolution window lasts for five hours after the Community Day event ends. Be sure to stock up on Pinap Berries during Bellsprout Community Day to ensure you have enough Bellsprout Candy to evolve and power up your Pokémon afterwards, even with the special evolution for Vicreebel.

Upcoming April 2024 Community Day Event Bonuses
During the April 2024 Community Day event, the following bonuses will remain in effect:
- Receive three times the amount of Stardust for catching Pokemon.
- Receive twice (2x) the amount of Candy when catching Pokemon.
- The duration of Lure Modules activated will be extended from the usual 30 minutes to three (3) hours.
- The duration of activated incense has been extended to three (3) hours instead of the usual one (1) hour. Please note that this bonus does not apply to Daily Adventure Incense.
- Bellsprout can be seen in a maximum of five (5) photobombs.
- Catching Pokemon has a higher chance of yielding Candy XL for trainers at level 31 and above, doubling (2x) their chances.
During Community Day, the following bonuses will be in effect from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time:
- You are allowed to make an extra Special Trade, with a daily maximum of two (2).
- The amount of Stardust required for trades will be reduced by 50%.
May 2024 Community Day Field Research
Throughout Community Day, players will have the opportunity to complete Field Research tasks that involve capturing Bellsprout. These tasks will offer various rewards, such as:
- Stardust,
- Great Balls,
- Furthermore, there were several encounters with Bellsprout.
Upcoming Special Raid Events
Following the conclusion of Community Day, there will be special four-star raid battles available from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time. These raids will feature Weepinbell, the first evolution of Bellsprout.
If you successfully complete one of these raids, Bellsprout will appear near the hosting Gym for a duration of 30 minutes. These Bellsprout will have the same higher likelihood of being shiny as the ones that can be found in the wild during the official April Community Day event.
May 2024 Community Day PokeStop Showcases
During the event, there will also be PokeStop Showcases where you can display your newly caught Bellsprout.
May 2024 Community Day Special Research Story
To gain access to the Bellsprout Community Day-exclusive Special Research Story, you can purchase a ticket for US$1 or the equivalent price in your local currency. You also have the option to gift the story ticket to a friend within the game if your Friendship level with them is Great Friends or higher.
May 2024 Community Day In-Game Shop Bundles
During Bellsprout Community Day, there will be two event bundles available for purchase in the in-game shop. Each event bundle will include:

During Bellsprout Community Day, you have the option to buy an Ultra Community Day Box from the Pokemon GO Web Store for US$4.99. This box includes the following items:

- One (1) Elite Charged TM,
- Additionally, a ticket for a Special Research Story is also included.
By picking up one of these boxes, you can avoid purchasing the Special Research Story ticket from the in-game store.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that Bellsprout Stickers will be offered in the in-game store, completing the collection of available stickers. These adorable stickers can also be acquired by chance through spinning PokeStops or opening Gifts.
To acquire Pokemon number 69, the Grass-type Bellsprout, and evolve it to learn Magical Leaf, you will first need to participate in the upcoming Mega Heracross Raid Day event and the Bug Out event. These events will take place before 4/20.
