While the primary objective in Pokémon Go is to collect all Pokémon, those trainers eager to measure their skills against others should take advantage of the competitive Go Battle League, which is currently in its 20th season, known as Max Out.
Start & End Dates of Pokémon Go Battle League Season 20
The Pokémon Go Battle League’s Season 20 commenced on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 1:00 PM PDT (GMT -8), and will run until Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
As is the norm, at the start of each season, players can redeem their end-of-season rewards from the battle screen, and their Go Battle League ranks will be reset.

This season features the conventional Great, Ultra, and Master Leagues, along with numerous special cups, including the Halloween Cup.

Events Schedule for Go Battle League Season 20
Throughout Season 20 of the Go Battle League, a special event will take place:

Go Battle Weekend: Max Out | From Saturday, November 2, at 12:00 AM to Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 11:59 PM local time |
During the Go Battle Weekend: Max Out event, the maximum number of sets you can play each day will increase from 5 to 20, allowing for a total of 100 battles. Additionally, you’ll receive 4× Stardust from win rewards (excluding end-of-set rewards).
This Battle Weekend will also feature free Timed Research, rewarding participants with an Allister-inspired wig. Furthermore, Pokémon encounter rewards from the GO Battle League will exhibit a broader variety of Attack, Defense, and HP stats.
