Niantic has revealed plans for a Pokemon Go event that will focus on hatching the lovable Cleffa. Here is everything you need to know about Cleffa Hatch Day.
Pokemon Go has revealed a new Hatch Day event featuring Cleffa, the lovable pink baby Pokemon of the Fairy type. Cleffa can evolve into the equally enchanting Clefairy and Clefable.
This will mark the third Hatch Day, building on last year’s events centered around Riolu and Azurill. Similar to those, the Cleffa Hatch Day will offer players numerous opportunities to capture the Star Shape Pokemon.

Pokemon Go Cleffa Hatch Day Event Dates & Times
The Cleffa Hatch Day event is scheduled for Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm in your local time zone.
Pokemon Go Cleffa Hatch Day: Event Bonuses
Furthermore, along with Cleffa appearing more often from 2km Eggs, Cleffa Hatch Day also offers the following benefits:
- 2× Candy from hatching Eggs
- Increased chance of hatching Shiny Cleffa
- 2 km Eggs will drop more frequently from PokeStops
To increase your chances of hatching Cleffa, there will be an extended bonus available starting on Friday, April 26 at 10 am and ending on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 5 pm in your local time zone. This bonus will reduce the hatch distance by half for all Eggs placed in Incubators, making the hatching process quicker and allowing for more space for new Eggs.
Pokemon Go Cleffa Hatch Day event Field & Timed Research
Additionally, players will have the opportunity to participate in event-specific Timed Research tasks, which upon completion will reward a Super Incubator and XP.
Tasks for Field Research related to the event will also be offered, providing Stardust and XP as rewards.
Additionally, during Cleffa Hatch Day, players will have the option to participate in Paid Timed Research. For a fee of $1 (or the equivalent in the local currency), players will receive 2× Hatch Stardust and will also be rewarded with One Star Piece, One Super Incubator, and XP upon completing the tasks.
