The Classic Special Research for Pokemon Go’s Cyndaquil Community Day rewards players with Poke Balls, Rare Candy, and encounters with Cyndaquil.

Niantic released the Scorching Steps event in Pokemon Go on June 21st, which centers around various Fire-type Pokemon such as Slugma and Larvesta. Additionally, on the 22nd, another Fire-type will be highlighted.

The upcoming Pokemon Go Cyndaquil Community Day Classic will offer trainers a boosted opportunity to capture and evolve the second generation starter, resulting in a Typhlosion with Blast Burn if a Quilava is evolved during the event. Additionally, the Community Day Classic will feature Special Research tasks.

How to complete Cyndaquil Community Day Classic Special Research

Step 1 of 4

• Make five Nice Throws – 15 Poke Balls
• Catch 15 Cyndaquil – Cyndaquil Encounter
• Power up Pokemon 10 times – 20 Cyndaquil Candy

Rewards: 2,000 Stardust, an encounter with Cynadquil, and one Incense.

Step 2 of 4

• Transfer 10 Pokemon – 10 Pinap Berries
• Catch 15 Cyndaquil – Quilava Encounter
• Evolve three Cynadquil – 30 Cyndaquil Candy

Prizes: 4,500XP, Encounter with Cynadquil, One Star Piece

Step Three of Four

• Make three Great Curveball Throws – 15 Great Balls
• Catch 15 Cyndaquil – Cyndaquil Encounter
• Evolve one Quilava – 50 Cynadquil Candy

The rewards for completing this task include 4,500 Stardust, an encounter with Quilava, and one Rocket Radar.
