The next Community Day Classic for Pokemon Go has been revealed to feature Cyndaquil as the main focus. These special events allow for a revisit of previous Community Day Pokemon, giving the Gen 2 Fire-type Starter another chance to showcase its abilities.
Trainers who have a fondness for the Gold & Silver Starter Cyndaquil won’t want to miss out on this event, as it evolves into Quilava and eventually into the powerful Fire-type, Typhlosion, known for its strong attacks.

Pokemon Go Cyndaquil Community Day Classic Dates & Times
The Cyndaquil Community Day Classic for Pokemon Go is scheduled for Sunday, June 22, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.
Pokemon Go: Cyndaquil Community Day Classic Featured Attack
Those who evolve Cyndaquil into Quilava during the event or within two hours after will receive a Typhlosion with the Charged Attack Blast Burn.
In trainer battles, as well as Gym and Raid battles, Blast Burn has a power of 110.
Pokemon Go Classic Bonuses for Cyndaquil Community Day
During the Cyndaquil Community Day Classic, players can take advantage of the following bonuses for their benefit:
- 2x XP for catching Pokemon
- 2x Stardust for catching Pokemon
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) and Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
- Taking a few snapshots during Community Day will give a surprise
Additionally, PokeStop Showcases featuring Cyndaquil will be available exclusively during the Community Day Classic.
Pokemon Go Community Day: Cyndaquil Classic Field Research
This Community Day Classic event will include a Field Research challenge centered around Cyndaquil. Trainers will have the opportunity to earn rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, and encounters with Cyndaquil by completing various tasks.
Pokemon Go 2019 Cyndaquil Community Day Classic Special Research
Trainers can purchase a ticket for an exclusive Special Research quest for $1 or the equivalent in their local currency. The completion of this Special Research is not bound by a specific date.
On the 22nd, Niantic made the Special Research challenge available.

The event will also feature three unique bundles as part of the game.
The initial option is the Ultra Community Day Classic Box, which can only be purchased on the Pokemon Go website for $4.99 or the equivalent amount in local currency. This package consists of the following items:
- 10 Ultra Balls
- One Elite Charged TM
- One Special Research story ticket
The remaining two Event Bundles will be purchasable through Pokemon Go’s in-game shop.
