Niantic has announced a two-hour extension for the Primal Kyogre Raid Day event following server issues that affected players.
Pokémon Go has announced that Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon will return to Pokémon Go during the World of Wonders season on March 4, 2024.
These two Primal Legendaries would have individual global Raid events, with Primo-Kyogre’s event taking place on March 17, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Unfortunately, it appears that server issues have affected some regions’ ability to play, and Niantic has extended the end of the event by two hours for all regions as a result.

Trainers, we have resolved server issues that were impacting Primal Kyogre Raid Day and have extended the event until 7:00 p.m. local time for all regions.

Regardless of region, the event was originally scheduled for 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. Now, players will have two additional hours to complete the Primo-Kyogre Raid challenge.
Unfortunately, it appears that server issues have impacted more than just some players’ ability to connect. Many trainers have complained about losing Remote Raid Passes due to server issues.
“Are you kidding!? We all went home an hour and a half ago when we couldn’t reconnect,” one fan said. “We’ve all lost raid passes, incense we couldn’t finish using, lucky eggs, and the unused passes from our tickets… and now we’re all at home and you expect us to let’s go out for ONE HOUR!???»
To make matters worse, trainers in some zones who were impacted by these server issues were apparently not notified until 6 p.m. local time, meaning they only had an extra hour to participate in Raids..
At this time, it is unclear whether or not Niantic will offer additional compensation to those who lost Remote Raid Passes due to these server issues.
