Niantic has announced that the next Pokemon Go Raid Day will center around Falinks, as they continue their Gen 8 celebration.
Falinks, a Fighting-type Pokemon inspired by an ancient military formation, was first introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield. However, in 2021, it was also made available in Pokemon Go, making it one of the rare Galar ‘mon that could be obtained before the Max Out season in the mobile game.
Date & time
The Falinks Raid Day has been scheduled for Sunday, September 8, 2024, and will run from 2 pm to 5 pm in local time.
Shiny Falinks debut & event bonuses
Aside from providing ample opportunities for players to capture the Formation Pokemon, this Raid Day will also introduce Falinks’ Shiny variant to Pokemon Go.
During Falinks Raid Day, the following bonuses will remain in effect:

- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Falinks from raids
- The limit for Remote Raid Passes will be raised to 20 starting at 5 pm on Saturday, September 7 until 8 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2024, in PDT.
Event ticket
Just like previous Raid Days, a paid ticket is offered for $5 USD (or the equivalent in the local currency).
The bonuses provided by the Falinks Raid Day Ticket are as follows:
- Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 14)
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles
