According to the official Pokémon Go blog, the Go Big event commenced on Tuesday, September 10, at 10 am, immediately following the conclusion of the Go All Out event, and will continue until Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 8 pm local time.
Dynamax Pokémon Debuting in the Go Big Event
The Go Big event allows trainers to catch the initial set of Dynamax Pokémon, all available through one-star Max Battles, with Shiny variants included:
- Bulbasaur
- Charmander
- Squirtle
- Skwovet
- Wooloo
To the Max! Special Research & Rewards
This event also unveils a new Special Research task called To The Max! Players will engage in Max Battles to earn Max Particles, locate Power Spots, and obtain a new avatar item that resembles a Dynamax Band, among other rewards.
Max Out is accessible for free to all users. Players need to participate before the season concludes on December 3, 2024, at 9:59 am local time to unlock it. Here are the steps and rewards for the To The Max! Special Research:
