Niantic has unveiled exciting information about one of the last Pokémon Go events for the year—**Holiday Part 1**. This seasonal gathering will introduce the highly anticipated **Shiny Sandygast** and a festively dressed **Dedenne**, alongside several other surprises.
As the **Dual Destiny** season kicks off, it’s clear that the end of the year is fast approaching. To ring in the joyous holiday spirit, Pokémon Go is hosting a themed event split into two segments. Get ready for a variety of experiences with various wild spawns, special Egg hatches, and fresh Field Research Tasks throughout this event.
Event Schedule for Pokémon Go Holiday Part 1
The Holiday Part 1 event kicks off on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM and concludes on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 9:59 PM local time.
Exclusive Event Bonuses
During this festive event, players can enjoy the following bonuses:
- Double XP for catching Pokémon.
- Half the hatch distance for Eggs placed in Incubators throughout the duration of the event.

Egg Hatching Opportunities
The **7 km Egg** pool will see fresh rotations during the Holiday Part 1 event. Players can expect to hatch the following Pokémon:

- Charcadet
