Fittingly, Max Out focuses on large-scale battles. With the addition of Dynamax Battles, players can now collect Dynamax Pokémon, discover Power Spots, and earn the new Max Particles while exploring the globe.

Start & End Dates for Pokémon Go’s Max Out Season
The Max Out season runs from September 3, 2024, until December 3, 2024. Like previous seasons such as Shared Skies, this is a three-month period filled with events and challenges themed around the Max Out concept.
At this time, there’s no confirmation on what season will follow Max Out, so players will have to wait until November for updates on Pokémon Go’s future.
Pokémon Go Max Out Trailer
On August 27, 2024, Niantic released a trailer for the Max Out season, offering eager Trainers a glimpse of the massive Dynamax Battles, Pokémon available at Power Spots, and Galar Pokémon making their debut this season.
The trailer hints at exciting upcoming content, including the iconic Sword and Shield starters finally joining Pokémon Go. Players can look forward to catching Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, and their evolutions, along with many others as the season progresses.

Max Out Community Day Dates
At this time, the scheduled Community Day dates are as follows:
- Saturday, September 14, 2024 – Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta
- Saturday, October 5, 2024 – Unannounced Community Day
- Sunday, November 10, 2024 – Unannounced Community Day
These events typically occur between 2 PM and 5 PM local time, increasing Shiny odds and enabling Pokémon to learn event-exclusive moves.
Seasonal Bonuses
Max Out features several bonuses that will last for the entire three-month season. Trainers can enjoy the following rewards:
- Increased XP for a seven-day PokéStop spin streak
- Increased XP and Stardust for a seven-day Pokémon catch streak
- Increased XP from ascending a Friendship level
- One Extra Candy when trading Pokémon
- Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon
