However, this formidable creature is immune to many types of attacks, such as Ghost, Steel, Fire, Water, Ice, Dark, and Psychic, so it is best to steer clear of these as they will have minimal impact.

How to get Mega Gyarados in Pokemon Go

Similar to obtaining any other Mega Evolution, players must gather 300 Mega Energy in order to obtain Mega Gyarados and use it on a regular Gyarados. Once this has been done once, the cost will decrease to 60 Mega Energy and continue to decrease with subsequent uses.

Mega Energy can be acquired by players through defeating Mega Evolved Pokemon in Mega Raids or by completing designated Research Tasks during events.

Starting from Thursday, May 16, 2024, Mega Gyarados will be featured as a Mega Raid Boss until Thursday, May 23, 2024, after which it will be substituted by Mega Pidgeot.
