Pokemon Go Oranguru and Passimian Research Day: Timed Research Tasks and Rewards Guide

The Oranguru & Passimian Premium Timed Research challenge in Pokemon Go is set to launch during the September 2024 Community Day, and it will feature two sets of tasks.

This month’s Community Day is unique as it highlights not just one, but two Pokemon: Oranguru and Passimian. In addition to these, Trainers can expect to see more frequent spawns of other Pokemon such as Aipom, Chimchar, Grookey, Mankey, and Slakoth.

The new Premium Timed Research tasks will be available simultaneously with Community Day, enabling players to achieve progress by completing various Field Research tasks.

Oranguru Premium Timed Research Tasks

According to Leek Duck, here are the tasks for the Oranguru portion of the Timed Research:

Complete a Field Research task – encounter with Oranguru
Complete two Field Research tasks – encounter with Oranguru
Complete three Field Research tasks – encounter with Oranguru

As of now, confirmed Field Research tasks for this event include making three Nice Throws in a row, making three Great Throws, executing a Curveball Throw, using a Super Effective Charged Attack, spinning two PokeStops or Gyms, earning three Hearts with a Buddy, sending a Gift with a Sticker, and using three Berries to catch Pokemon.

How to Get Premium Timed Research

Trainers interested in participating in the Pokemon Go Community Day Premium Timed Research need to purchase a ticket from the Go Shop. This ticket is not available for purchase with Poke Coins; instead, players must pay $2.00 or its local equivalent to unlock these specific tasks and rewards.

Note that the cost opens access to both the Oranguru and Passimian Timed Research tasks. Furthermore, all tasks must be completed and redeemed by September 22, 2024, at 5 PM local time.
