Pokémon Go Player Defies Odds With Lucky Hatching

A Pokémon Go player stunned everyone by hatching a hundo (IV 100) from one of the most popular Pokémon rare and most sought-after in the game, a feat only a few lucky trainers have achieved.

Adding all available Pokémon to the Pokédex is not easy for Pokémon Go players, as some species can only be obtained by hatching Eggs. This becomes even more complicated because these Egg-exclusive Pokémon are often relevant in the metagame, making them excellent for PvP and PvE battles.

Fans looking to obtain them often end up walking hundreds of miles to add these valuable assets to their collection. So when a trainer obtained a hundo from the rarest Egg hatch in the game, the community couldn’t help but marvel at their luck.

The trainer, named ‘SpumScum’ on Reddit, shared a screenshot of his hatching Pyronille IV 100 in Pokémon Go and wrote: “What are the chances of this? I think I won.”

The exceptionally rare hatching amazed many Pokémon Go fans who joined the comments section to praise the perfect stat catch.

“You’re so lucky, I haven’t hatched one yet,” one user wrote while another added: “Pretty sure you won the game! Congratulations! “

Others called the hatching “ridiculous”as they celebrated the author’s “insane luck”to have not only obtained the super rare Pokémon, but also an IV 100 to top it all off, like the said one: “Damn, I can’t even hatch ONE and you have a HUNDO?! Jealousy and curses.”

As one player mentioned, it took him “600 hatchings to get one [Pyronille]” , others pointed out that the chance of hatching Pyronille from Eggs in Pokémon Go is less than 1%, making the hundo all the more rare and impressive.

One user did the math and revealed that the odds are about “1/21600 to specifically get a Hundo Pyronilla”, leaving others stunned by the absurdity of the rarity.

It should be noted that Pyronille cannot be found in the wild or in Raids, and can only be obtained from 2 km, 5 km and 10 km Eggs, being the rarest in the group of possible hatchings. In addition, Pyronille requires no less than 400 Candies to evolve into Pyrax, one of the best Bug and Fire type Pokémon.

Meanwhile, you can also take a look at how to get other extremely rare species in Pokémon Go such as Frigodo and Zygarde.
